Young students from La Rioja are invited past Thursday, 3 October, to take part in a day of short films, organised by La Rioja Governement, within the framework of the Mindchangers Project, to raise awareness of the environment and migration through films.
Throughout the morning, young people from schools and institutes of La Rioja, have participated in one of the two screenings scheduled in the auditorium of the Library of La Rioja. The youngsters will be able to watch up to six short films in a session enlivened by Big Van Ciencia, an organisation with more than ten years of experience in the field of communication and awareness-raising through fun and entertaining ways.
Specifically, the short film ‘Invisible blanket’ by Pasha Reshikov; ‘Migrantes’, an impressive story with an important social commentary and great technical skill; ‘El relevo’ by Pedro Ballesteros; ‘The way I welcome you’ by Amparo Fortuny; ‘Thermostat 6’, a 2d animation short film made by four students from the French animation school Gobelins; and ‘#Boza’ by Anna Surinyach and Séverine Sajous will be screened.
After the short films, the young people will be able to take part in a film forum to debate and analyse the plots, scripts, characters and plots of each short film based on the 2 subjets of the Project.
