After four years of implementation, the Mindchangers project is coming to an end. Since 2020, this project has been committed to raising awareness and supporting young citizens in their commitment to sustainable development, with a focus on climate change and migration.
Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, among the nine partners of the project, is pleased to host the closing event that will bring together around 160 participants : young Mindchangers actively involved in the project and representatives of European associations and political sectors, from Mindchangers’ partner countries (Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy and Romania).
The aims of the event will be to :
– present the project’s achievements to key stakeholders, including policy recommendations that have emerged from the project’s activities;
– promote examples of good practice and successful partnerships between local authorities, civil society organizations and young people;
– enable discussions between key stakeholders on a range of topics.
Program: project presentation and exhibition
The event kicks off on Tuesday September 24 at Brussels City Hall. The opening session and greetings by institutional representatives will precede a general presentation of the project’s achievements and an exchange with the public.
Four panels on young people’s commitment to sustainable development will be organized, ending with discussions with the audience. Several specific themes will be addressed: communication, youth participation, youth policies & practices and perspectives in formal and non-formal education.
On Wednesday September 25, the event will continue at the Palais des Académies, which will host an exhibition of projects run by local operators supported under the calls for projects launched by Mindchangers’ partners in 2022 and 2023.
