The project ‘Jugend trifft Politik – Global!’ (Youth meets Politics – global!) gets young people (ages 15 to 35) into conversations with political representatives of different levels (municipal, state and federal level). The discussion topics are global responsibility with a main focus on climate justice and migration. For this purpose, dialogues between young people and actors from politics and civil society take place as part of different regional events.
Furthermore, the project entails a global exchange between young people from Germany and from countries of the Global South focusing on the mentioned topics. With a social media campaign, the contents of the project and the voices of the participating young people are made visible to a large audience.
