The Junior Chamber International Craiova – JCI Craiova Association, in partnership with the HEROES Association, the Department of Physics – Faculty of Sciences of the University of Craiova, ADI Ecodolj, the Spiru Haret University College and SC Salubritate Craiova SRL will join forces and organize the event called #BoatPET, a race with rafts made of PETs in which young volunteers from different high schools in Craiova will participate. The event is planned to take place on Sunday, June 11, starting at 9.30 a.m. on the lake in the Hanul Doctorului Park, Craiova.
Other activities carried out in April and May and related to this upcoming event included eco-responsibility workshops and STEAM workshops, held by JCI trainers.
#BoatPET is part of the “CleanUP Craiova” project, aimed to improve the degree of selective collection in Craiova. It is implemented by JCI Craiova since March 2023 within the Mindchangers sub-grantees program.
